How it Happened
How we meet
We were classmates in Grades 2, 3, and 5. In Grade 5, we became seatmates, and that's when we started building core memories together, especially when we would swap our lunch. Our favorite dish was fried chicken. Sometimes Billy's lunch would be breakfast food like eggs, corned beef, or beef loaf, and when we got tired of eating the same thing, we'd trade meals.
He proposed, I said yes
Billy proposed in Siargao Island, completely surprising everyone without any hint of what was about to happen. He had told me he would propose in CDO, so that's what I had in mind. But under the island's beautiful sunset, with the sound of the waves in the background, he got down on one knee. In that magical moment, all I could say was yes to forever with him.
Our Engagement Day
On our engagement day, everything felt like a dream. The air was filled with excitement and love as Billy held my hand, and I could feel the warmth of his heart through every word he said. He chose the perfect moment, surrounded by nature's beauty, to ask the most beautiful question I've ever heard. As he knelt down, time seemed to stand still, and in that instant, I knew my answer had been in my heart all along. It was a day we'll cherish forever, the start of our journey toward forever together.
